This amateur production is presented by arrangement with JOSEF WEINBERGER LIMITED on behalf of MUSIC THEATRE INTERNATIONAL of NEW YORK.
Now in its 12th year, Grimsby Auditorium and Lincs Inspire are delighted to announce this year’s Summer Youth Musical Disney’s High School Musical.
Featuring songs such as ‘What I’ve Been Looking For, Get’cha Head in the Game and Start of Something New, Disney’s High School Musical highlights the story of East High School’s jock and basketball star Troy Bolton and brainy transfer student Gabriella Montez; two teens who although worlds apart end up auditioning for the leading parts in their high school musical together. Despite other students’ attempts to thwart their dreams, Troy and Gabriella persist and inspire others along the way.
Grimsby Auditorium is calling for young people aged 9 to 19 to audition for a part in the Stage Experience. Auditions take place at the Auditorium on Sunday 31st May,
9 – 12 year olds, 10am – 12:30pm 13 – 19 year olds, 1:30pm – 4pm – any call backs approx. 4-6pm. All candidates will be considered whatever their level of experience.
The Summer Youth Musical rehearsals are from Sunday 26 July to Thursday 6 August 2015 with two shows on both Friday 7th and Saturday 8th August 2015. Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 August are days off.
The Summer Youth Musical provides an excellent opportunity for local young people of all abilities to gain a valuable insight into the creative and challenging aspects of theatre and performing.
Please note that all hopeful applicants will need to complete an audition form to be handed in at the Auditorium on the day of Auditions.
This is a fee paying project of £150 per person and sibling discount available at £130 per person). Early Bird Offer available at £130.00 if paid by 30 June.
