The Black Dyke Band is the most recorded band in the world with over 350 recordings & growing every year.

It is also the most successful contesting band having won the British Open in 2014 for a record thirtieth time, defending the European Championships again in 2015 totaling thirteen times and winning the National Championships of Great Britain twenty-two times. They also became Champion Band at the English National Championships in 2009, 2011, 2012 & 2013.

With over 150 years of rich musical history it is extremely proud of its heritage.

Black Dyke has also released a single on The Beatles Apple Records label, which was an instrumental composed by Lennon and McCartney called Thingumybob, as well as an instrumental version of Yellow Submarine.
