Based on the Dickens novel, Oliver! is one of the most loved classic family musicals.

After his escape from the workhouse Oliver finds himself being sold to an undertaker in London where he quickly escapes again.

He then meets the Artful Dodger who takes him under his wing, introducing him to Fagin and Fagin’s gang of pickpockets. Wrongly accused of theft, Oliver is taken in by a more kindly gentleman much to the concern of one of Fagin’s old gang, the violent Bill Sykes. In the middle of all of this is Nancy, Syke’s girl who has grown fond of Oliver and who Oliver has come to trust.
