An unforgettable night of music, celebration and soul, taking place on Friday 17th October 2025 on the birthday week of legendary songwriter born in Cleethorpes Mr Rod Temperton.

We honour the iconic music and legacy of Rod Temperton a local lad who was a former member of Heatwave (Boogie Nights) who went on to be one of the best songwriters in the world and the author of Michael Jackson’s Thriller, Rock With You, Off The Wall the best selling albums and singles in history and visionary producer from Chicago Quincy Jones two of the greatest architects of modern soul, pop, and R&B.

Featuring a full live band and special guest singers, the evening promises electrifying performances of classic hits that shaped generations.

From It’s My Party, Thriller, Soul Boss Nova, Give Me the Night, Mystery, In The Heat Of The Night, Fly Me To The Moon, Killer Joe, Stomp, Boogie Nights, Rock With You, Yah Mo B There, Always And Forever, Love x Love and beyond.

This event is musically directed by the award-winning musical director Josh Davis and curated & produced by Tony Fairweather with amazing musicians from the accredited and prestigious Guildhall School of Music in London and Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, together under the name of The Invisible Band, named after Rod Temperton’s nick name ‘the invisible man’.

This celebration will bring together passionate musicians and fans alike, all gathered under one roof to pay homage to the timeless sounds crafted by these two music legends.
