Entertainment

Rock, pop or classical. End stage, centre stage or flat floor, seated, standing or a combination of both, Grimsby Auditorium can accommodate the requirements of most producers and promoters.

The flexible seating can accommodate various styles from classical end stage or a central performance area, such as theatre in the round or wrestling. Alternatively standing concerts can accommodate to 2053 standing.

Located at the rear of the Grimsby Auditorium are two star dressing rooms, a large chorus dressing room with the option of a partition wall. These are all with en suite facilities including showers, with further facilities available for disabled performers. On the right balcony are three private suites, ideal as crew rooms, production offices or for entertaining guests.

Conferences

Grimsby Auditorium provides ideal facilities for both the conference organiser & delegate alike.

The spacious foyer with its computer and telephone points, public toilets, kiosk, coffee shop and bottle bar allow for an ideal registration area. The open plan bar area can be used independently of the main auditorium as a separate meeting room of in conjunction with the main balcony providing an ideal catering or meeting area.

A flexible seating system gives a variety of different layouts within the auditorium catering for from 200 to 1200 delegates. The fully upholstered seating and air conditioning within the auditorium combine to create an ideal conference atmosphere.

Overlooking the main auditorium are three glass fronted private suites, accessible from both within the auditorium or via a private corridor giving excellent break-out or exhibition areas.

At the rear of the auditorium are two small dressing rooms and two chorus dressing rooms which can be used for speaker preparation or as production offices.

Within Grimsby, Cleethorpes & the surrounding area are many hotels and guest houses offering a wide range of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets.

Exhibitions

From fairs and public sales, to exhibitions or trade shows Grimsby Auditorium provides vast opportunities for producers and promoters.

Flat floor loading gives direct access for coaches and lorries parking at the rear with a maximum headroom of 2.3 metres (7ft 6in) for internal access.

In addition to the main auditorium space of 873 square metres, exhibitors may utilise the rear balcony and three glass fronted hospitality suites located on the right balcony. The foyer can also be utilised as further exhibition space or is ideal as a registration area.

In addition to the auditorium itself the car park and paved areas outside can be utilised for outdoor displays or additional marquee space. For larger exhibitions, even more space can be created via interconnecting doors through to the adjoining Grimsby Leisure Centre, providing a multitude of possibilities.
