Following on from the news that Theatres can re-open fully, we have revised some of our Covid-19 safety measures and procedures that we have in place for you and our team and to give you a heads up of what to expect.
When you arrive at the venue …
FEELING UNWELL? IF YOU HAVE TESTED POSITIVE OR ARE SHOWING ANY SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19 or think you might be an infection risk due to being in close contact with someone who has tested positive, please stay at home until you are all clear.
WE CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE PLANS to use the proposed COVID PASSPORT or certification system to grant you access to the venue. We do however ask that you do everything you can to ensure you are not infectious when visiting us, including regular use of Lateral Flow testing, and not visiting if you are showing symptoms.
NHS TRACK AND TRACE APP The NHS QR code will still be available at the entrance for customers to use if they wish. If you do not have the QR code but wish to leave test and trace details please speak with a member of staff.
DIGITAL TICKET Please show your digital ticket on your device. You do not need to print your tickets. Physical tickets will be accepted if you have not requested a print at home ticket.
FACE COVERINGS Masks are no longer compulsory; however, we strongly encourage customers to use them whilst within the venue. Our staff will also be encouraged to wear them so please be respectful of others around you and their decisions.
PLEASE CLEAN YOUR HANDS We will ask you to sanitize your hands entering the venue. There are several sanitiser stations throughout.
PLEASE MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING We will encourage a safe social distance where possible.
OUR RETAIL OUTLETS will once again be open for customers to purchase items from, however we do encourage customers to continue to pay using contactless where possible.
CUSTOMERS ARE ENCOURAGED to take their drinks straight to their seats or outside pre-show and during the interval to reduce crowding in our foyer and bar areas.
ENHANCED CLEANING Will be taking place throughout public areas, before, during and between performances, including regular sanitisation of all touch points.
INFORMATION BOARDS Look out for members of the front of house with information boards, such as you may be asked to REMAIN SEATED before exiting.
Grimsby Auditorium have been granted the Society Of London Theatre & UK Theatre’s ‘See It Safely’ mark, which certifies that we comply with the latest government guidelines, to ensure the safety of our staff and audiences.
Thank you for your time in reviewing this and we look forward to having full audiences back soon, so please remember to be kind, respect other’s choices and the show will go on!
